The unseen enemy of the world today cannot extinguish humanity. Humanity still can light up the torch and brighten the darkness at hand. Humanity is in fact, doing it. Hope is present in the heart of mankind, and it is noticeable, to say the least. World leaders, state government authorities, and task-forces are upfront in upholding societies and blocking the adversary. It is now the people's choices that truly matter in protecting themselves as they adhere to new rules of lockdown and quarantine protocols.
As the World Health Organization (WHO) and the world-wide media are spreading results of increasing Covid-19 cases, death tolls, and social distancing measures, the entire world has a body of workers dedicated to serving humanity. Including the ones already stated, they are the "front-liners" as we call them. However, those that are directly in service to virus-contracted individuals muster the call for duty day after day. They are well aware of the risk they take. Doctors, nurses, caregivers, community health workers, public health professionals, etc are no far less than heroes. Their jobs are not to be taken lightly. I cannot imagine how much fear and anxiety they overcome each day as they face their daily job. Let us pray that God will continue to give them the strength to move on. And please, if you have someone near you right now, a brother or a sister, a husband or a wife, a neighbor or a friend who works for those who are afflicted- give that person a word of encouragement. Let us brighten their day by giving our heartfelt appreciation for what they do. Make a phone call and let them know you care. This coronavirus pandemic, as we know is unseen. The entire world is battling against an unseen enemy! However, although it is unseen, it caused the world to shut down. It switched the gear from a go to a stop. God's word in Ephesians 6:12 has become vivid in our days. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. However, we can have the courage and hope through Jesus.
Remember John 16:33, Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Consequently, although, we are forced to stop, we continue to move. We do not move from one place to another. We stay at home. Yes! But there is a move in our mindset. May our minds move according to God's will for us. God reveals in us perspectives that we never had - revelation and perspectives, which give light, hope, courage, and joy in our hearts even at this time. One of God's movement today is the use of Christian groups who are willing to help their community and the world today. Those that are serving missionaries, evangelistic crusades, pastors, priests, laymen, intercessors or prayer warriors, and all church leaders and members on the move. They are also front-liners. They are front-liners in the heavenly realm, whose duty is not only to deliver food, comfort, medicine, encouragement and insights, necessities, and funds to the needy but they also boldly spread the good news of God. One of the biggest inspirations in my faith in God is Billy Graham. I was moved to paint him and created a time-lapse video of my artwork with inspirations to hold on to God's promises for us. May you find joy in this video. God is calling us to rise up. Let your faith in God rise up, dear one. This is indeed the time to draw near to Him. Worship Him! Worship God through what He has given you. If He has given you a talent, use it now for His glory.
Our front-liners continue to move. They are our soldiers in the battle, and I want to recognize them for what they do. At the bottom of this page is the time lapse video of a Bermuda Yellow Rose, as my first painting in my flower series in this season. This piece is dedicated to the world's coronavirus front-liners.
